Long term weathering of the spectacular fossil rich limestone bluffs of Chillagoe has created unusual rock towers and over 700 documented caves, the largest known system having over 11kms of surveyed passage. Volcanic activity and intense mineralisation has created unique coloured marble and rich mineral deposits on the extremities of these bluffs. Chillagoe Cabins offer a range of tours to these incredible subterranean environments and Marble Quarries.
